The 9th annual meeting of Africa Logistics Network (ALN) will be held in Nairobi, Kenya, from the 8th to the 11th of October 2023.

Again, a combined meeting together with ALNA, Airfreight Logistics Network for Africa, the sister network of ALN arrived at this in its 2nd in-person meeting.

The growth of the networks has been impressive in the last few years. ALN counts on 220 members, 80 of them in Africa and 140 in the other Continents. 100% of Africa is covered with at least one member.

“My father and I founded ALN because we wanted to be stronger in Africa with our Freight Forwarding company,” says Marcello Saponaro, Chairman of ALN

“The goal was to have the best network of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises in Africa, to support our company, and to support every member of ALN”.

“And we did it,” adds Saponaro, “as we are now the only network with 100% Africa covered by professional Freight Forwarders”.

The main part of the conference is dedicated to the one-to-one meetings between participating members of the Networks but there will be many opportunities to reinforce friendships and confidence during the social time: the time spent during lunches and dinners.

As usual, an important moment is the Africa Logistics Awards ceremony that will be held during the Gala dinner at Cultiva Kenya Farm Restaurant on October 9th.

Two companies, members of ALN or ALNA, for each of the six categories, will be awarded.

The vote between ALN and ALNA members will take place 15 days before the event.

After the 3 days meeting, the group is going to spend one day as tourists in the Nairobi National Park.
