FEAFFA President and FIATA-RAME chairman Passes on

FEAFFA fraternity regrets to announce the sudden demise of it’s president Mr. Stephen Elias Joseph Ngatunga that occurred on Monday 11th March 2019 in Dar es Salaam Tanzania.

Stephen Ngatunga, was the President of Tanzania Freight Forwarders Association (TAFFA), President of the Federation of East African Freight Forwarders Associations (FEAFFA), Chairman of FIATA Regional Africa and Middle East (RAME).

Mr. Ngatunga was a highly grounded professional practitioner, a leader, a trainer and a strong advocate of the freight logistics industry with over 30 years practicing and leadership experience.

He was also the Chairman and Managing Director of Jerusalem Freighters and Company Limited, a leading indigenous total logistics services provider domiciled in Tanzania. He was a member of several high level industry related national, regional and regional committees and working/steering groups that focus on improving the efficiency and competitiveness of transport logistics in the East African Region and the entire globe.

The requiem mass is slated for Thursday 14th March 2019, 9.00 am at Karimjee Hall Dar, Tanzania while the burial will be held on Saturday 16th March 2019 at Lituhi Village, Songea, Tanzania at 10.00 am.
